Abstract
This study will use a current charismatic leadership model to determine if the unique characteristics of three famous orchestral conductors can lend insight into improving the efficacy of all musical conductors. The charismatic elements of each conductor's leadership will be examined and compared to the charismatic leadership model. The results of this comparison will be used to recommend areas for augmenting the educational curriculum for the development of greater charisma in young conductors.
