Abstract
This literature review provides a synopsis of caregiver mobile device use and resulting impacts on children. In total 15 articles were examined. The dates of publications ranged from 2012-2018. Overall, continual interruptions and heavy engagement with mobile devices disrupts caregiver and child interactions. Results of such interruptions cause decreased interaction between caregivers and children as well as impact child development in multiple ways.
