Abstract
The emphasis on adherence for those taking PrEP is paramount to prevent the seroconversion of HIV for those at risk in the community. The link between PrEP adherence, maintenance, burdensome visits requiring the need for quarterly visits and labs, the burdensome nature of navigating healthcare systems, and stigma surrounding taking PrEP will be discussed along with recent solutions being implemented to tackle these disparities.
